 JOB DESCRIPTION:

 We target small to medium size businesses. These companies do not have the time, resources or expertise to handle human resource related functions such as payroll, tax filing or even signing paychecks! Our service gives business owners the peace of mind to do what they do best...grow their business. We have established unique relationships within the financial community, so 70% of our new clients are referred by CPA's, current clients, or banks. The current market penetration in our industry is only 15-18%, and our outstanding Sales Team is enjoying continued success in a market place that offers such vast opportunity!

We are looking for a goal oriented sales manager who is excited to build a career with an industry leader. Primary responsibilities include:

 

?  Initiating, participating in, and supervising on-going training of assigned sales representatives in technical knowledge, competitive knowledge, and sales skills.

 

?  Managing the achievement of corporate objectives by individual product line within area of district responsibility and within budgeted financial guidelines.

 

?   Recruiting, selecting and directing sales staff in meeting or exceeding corporate goals. Monitors attainment versus forecast and takes corrective action when necessary.

 

?  Projecting a positive image in representing the corporation to clients and the community.

 

?  Cultivating and developing through the sales staff a referral network among the certified public accountants community, enrolled agents and bookkeepers.

 

?  Working with branch managers to develop mutual objectives and problem-solving issues using partnership principles.

 

?   Ensuring accuracy of weekly activity reports and auditing commission and expense reports.

 

Our Sales Managers and Representatives complete a comprehensive professional sales training program which includes technical and sales skills training. In March 2006, Paychex was named to Training Magazine's list of 100 best training organizations for the fifth consecutive year.

 REQUIREMENTS: Must have a minimum of 2 years of increasing management responsibilities, hitting aggressive quotas in a sales atmosphere. Experience in service solutions would be a plus.  Strong communication, leadership, training, and recruiting skills. Excellent math and analytical skills.  Ability to lead and motivate a top performing sales team.
