Pharmaceutical Sales Managed Care National Accounts Manager

Our client is a specialty pharmaceutical division of a multi-divisional healthcare manufacturer and a leader in their segments of the industry. They have asked us to locate a new National Accounts Manager to place their Pharmaceutical products with national and regional HMO, PBM and State Medicaid customers in the Northeast region. This National Accounts Manager will work closely with sales managers and the field sales force to pull thru products. Ideally based in a city with a major airport, this region covers the states of NY, NJ, PA, MD, DE, OH and New England and will require overnight travel

The candidate we seek will have a 4 year degree and a strong background in Pharmaceutical sales including several years of managed care account experience, and a documented track record of success, as evidenced by stack rankings, awards and commendations. Prior sales management experience is also preferred and would be a big plus.

The successful candidate can expect to earn at least $120-150K and possibly more the first year based on a starting salary of $90-120K (depending upon experience) plus a bonus plan that will add $30K at goal, but could be even higher based on personal performance. In addition, you will receive a company car, an excellent benefit package, and high visibility for advancement to senior levels of sales management.
