Rapid7 is seeking a Technical Pre-Sales Representative to support the sales team and become a product expert working with its network security software solution.



Rapid7 sells security software: a quickly growing fast-paced industry. As viruses, hackers, and spyware threaten organizations, we provide software to prevent security breaches. Responsibilities

? Effectively demonstrate company products in sales situations, marketing events and at industry events

? Develop effective sales tools (presentations, scripted sales demos, FAQs, studies, etc.) to enable sales to position and sell products and services

? Track product demonstrations and brief the sales team on the status of accounts

? Provide technical support to potential customers through the product evaluation

? Build and maintain competitive knowledge and create key competitive differentiators for use by sales

 

Requirements

? 2006 college grads encouraged to apply

? Experience with Network Security Software a PLUS

? Experience creating and delivering product presentations to both technical and managerial audiences for companies

? Must be a self-starter with a sense of urgency

? Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills and interpersonal skills

? Attention to detail and producing quality deliverables

? Proficiency with presentation development software (PowerPoint)

? BS/BA or relevant work experience
