Product Licensing Associate

Over the last decade, we have been very successful and have grown rapidly. Today, our team of 150 employees manages a portfolio of hundreds of inventions and is led by executives who have launched products and partnerships that have generated in excess of $100 million. Our headquarters is in downtown San Francisco (overlooking the Bay).

GENERAL PURPOSE:
The Product Licensing Associate reports to the Director of Licensing.  The Product Licensing Associate is responsible for positioning products in the marketplace and works in conjunction with manufactures to obtain licensing agreements for client products.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:
Develop and maintain relationships with manufacturers
? Negotiate contracts with manufacturers
? Attend trade shows
? Provide direction to associates on the creation of marketing materials
? Supervise a Product Licensing Assistant

PERIPHERAL DUTIES:
10% travel to tradeshows

DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
? 3 ? 5 years direct experience selling, marketing and/or product
development preferred but not required

? Automotive, Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) and/or after-market product  experience

?Existing relationships with industry manufactures
? Extensive industry knowledge in one or more industry
? Extraordinary customer service attitude
? B.A. in Marketing or equivalent experience
? Licensing experience a plus (consumer products preferred)
