CITY: Bradenton STATE: Florida COUNTRY: USA Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
The Product Manager is responsible for defining and implementing marketing strategies for new and existing products. This position will be responsible for managing and profitably growing the Education Sound and Communications business and expanding into new markets. Reporting to the Product Leader for the Sound and Communications business the product manager's responsibilities will include:
* Own and drive the New Product Introduction (NPI) program this includes:
* Develop the business case
Revenue
Contribution Margin and Operating Margin
Investments and Expenses
Cost target and benefits
Impact on core business
* Define project scope and vision
Collect voice of the customer (VOC) and define critical to quality (CTQs)
Translate VOC & CTQs into Marketing Requirement Document
Competitive advantages
Agency requirements
* Manage programs to meet or exceed for project completion dates and contribution margin goals
* Perform competitive product assessment and benchmarking
* Conduct pricing and market analysis
* Manage project risks
* Supply technical and market expertise for product commercialization
* Product line management
* Prioritize and focus product programs
* Measure product line performance
Revenue and margin
* Develop and manage multi-generational product plans
* Continuously collect VOC and translate those needs into actionable programs
* SKU rationalization
* Forecast new products volume and core volume decline
* Recommend pricing changes
* Follow market & technology trends to insure that we are developing products and services to meet industry and market requirements
* Global expansion
* Identify global product opportunities and translate them into actionable programs
Qualifications/Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelors degree in marketing or engineering or related field and at least five years of experience of product management.
* At least five (5) years Product Management, Marketing, and/or Sales experience.
* Experience in leading and driving projects.
* Passionate and articulate speaker with excellent communication and presentation skills.
* PC-literate; proficiency in MS-Windows-based applications (Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Word and Access).
* Previous sound and communications education and commercial paging product experience required. Intercom/Paging, IT, VoIP, and telephony product expertise desired.
-You must be willing to travel.

- You must be willing to work out of an office in Bradenton, FL.
