REGIONAL SALES MANAGER

Baublys Control Laser Corporation, a subsidiary of Excel Technology, is seeking an experienced Electronics/Semiconductor focused Regional Sales Manager to manage  outside sales representatives.  Baublys Control Laser is the premier supplier of industrial, high power laser marking, laser engraving and micron precision mechanical engraving systems. Baublys Control Laser offers complete integrated, turnkey solutions to our customers by providing the laser and mechanical markers with any type of workstation, automation or part handling system that is necessary to meet the customer?s production requirements.  These systems can include: conveyors, x:y tables, rotary servo systems, bowl feeders, vision systems and more.  Our primary markets are Aerospace, Automotive, Commercial, Electronic, Medical, Mold & Die, Semiconductor, Tool & Tooling, Trophy & Awards, Job Shop, OEM, etc.

 

The Regional Sales Manager?s primary responsibilities are to manage and provide support to assigned outside sales representatives in the areas of sales, sales training and technical support.  This includes setting goals, tracking sales representatives projects, making joint sales calls with the representatives to their potential customers, etc.  A close working relationship with Engineering, the Engineering Quotes group, R&D, Field Service, the Applications Lab and the Marketing group will be required. 

 

Candidates should have previous experience selling capital equipment into the electronics and semiconductor industry.  Experience with one or more of the following is a plus: industrial lasers, machine tools, CNC equipment or automation. Candidates should have five or more years of technical capital equipment sales background including managing independent sales representatives. Requires BS degree or equivalent experience, demonstrated history of meeting sales goals, strong sales and technical training skills, excellent communication and presentation skills are essential, computer skills are mandatory, exceptional organizational skills and a willingness to travel. Ideally this position will be located at our corporate office in Orlando, Florida
