Rational Software Sales Specialist
We are actively searching for Rational Sales Specialist.
The ideal candidate must have experience in consultative selling for large accounts in IA and NE.
The ideal candidate will be working with the Rational technical community, Coverage Software Sales Representatives, Client Representative and partners to help identify and sell Rational development tools and services.
The ideal candidate you should be comfortable working with clients to understand their needs and with mapping those needs back to our solutions.
The ideal candidate is chartered with facilitating business change in customer contexts by promoting leading edge software and systems development/management best practices.
The ideal candidate must have the ability to build partnerships and relationships for the near and long term is critical.
The ideal candidate must have technical skills around SOA, RUP, UML, Software Development, Eclipse, J2EE, Java, .NET, Requirements Management, Project Management, Configuration Management, Visual Modeling and Application Testing.
Major Field of Study: Business, Engineering or Computer Science.
The Rational Sales Specialist must reside in IA or NE area.
The successful candidate will be mobile and will work remotely with minimal travel (up to 30%) required. Our Sales people are measured on sales results so compensation includes both base pay & commission and is commensurate with experience.
Candidate Must have:
5-7 years Outside Software Sales background
Rational or competive software development/testing tools
Unix and NT experience
Proven record of over quota performance
