Real Estate Owned Sales Team Manager

The Real Estate Owned Sales Team Manager will oversee a team of Asset Managers by assisting and monitoring the sales activity of the team. Will also manage Team Leads and support associates charged with marketing a national portfolio of REO assets following company guidelines.

ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES


Analyze management reports for the assigned Asset Managers and Team Leads.


Assist Team Leads and Asset Managers in the management and marketing of their real estate portfolio. Review and approve offers, pricing and strategy changes based offer acceptance guidelines and current policy and procedures.


Develop and implement regional marketing strategies to dispose of assigned inventory in accordance with corporate policy and objectives.


Evaluate property valuation information, reconcile and/or support recommended changes.


Evaluate capital expenditures and refurbishment bids and authorize repairs as appropriate based on rehab guidelines and collaborate with Rehab Project Lead.


Encourage a comprehensive understanding of local markets through travel (Team Manager will often travel with Asset Managers/Team Leads), partnering with best vendors, and consistent evaluation and evolution of local markets.


Represent the REO department at conferences, internal meetings and with other departments to clearly communicate the REO strategy and what is being done to execute the strategy to include Team meetings.


Visit the other HF offices that have onsite REO staff to assist in the management of the staff and coordinate the objectives stated above.


Manage staffing requirements, including hiring/firing, performance reviews, compensation planning, coaching, counseling and overseeing staff development and training.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS


Bachelor?s degree, preferably in Business, Finance or Real Estate or equivalent related work experience.


Supervisory experience.


Prior supervisory or team lead experience.


5 years experience in the real estate/mortgage industry.


5 years experience in residential REO Sales or other Real Estate Sales positions.


25% travel.
