Reed Elsevier, one of the world?s largest publishing companies, is looking for an experienced Recruitment Advertising  Account Manager. The successful applicant will become a member of the Cell Press Journals/New Scientist Magazine/ScienceJobs.com recruitment sales team.

 

The Cell Press/New Scientist/ScienceJobs.com recruitment team is based in Cambridge, Massachusetts.  Just a few yards from the Kendall MIT T stop. The team is one of the most successful within Reed Elsevier / Reed Business Information and the department is recognized as a centre of excellence.

 

Due to on going successes we are currently seeking an experienced Recruitment Account Manager to continue our growth in the US.  You will be responsible for selling recruitment advertising in print and online to a direct client base of Industry, Academic and Government clients.  Selling will be predominantly over the telephone but face to face is encouraged whenever possible. Business travel is required, you will periodically represent the company at conferences and events throughout the US.

? Good listening and communication skills (verbal and written) are a prerequisite

? Determination and resilience are key attributes

? Ability to seek out new business and convert sales from a diverse client base

? Basic PC skills including the ability to use Word and Outlook

? A minimum of 2 years sales experience.

? Recruitment advertising experience is desirable but candidates with similar advertising experience will be considered
