Regional Manager

MET Electrical Testing Company, a Linc Facility Services Company, specializes in professional electrical testing and engineering services to assure reliability, safety, and compliance of industrial and commercial electrical power systems and equipment.  We have an immediate opening for an experience full-time Regional Manager at our office in the Lanham, Maryland area.

___________________________________________________________________________________  FUNCTION

This is a ?hands-on? management position that is responsible for the day-to-day operations of this branch/region.  This position is also responsible for the financial performance of the branch vs. budget targets.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

? Recruiting and supervising electrical test technicians, project managers and administrative staff, consistent with expected work loads

? Efficient and effective work scheduling

? Project management, as required

? Sales support, including pricing and margin analysis

? Safety management, consistent with the corporate safety plan

? Departmental P&L management

? Assistance with developing departmental budgets

? Other duties as required, to ensure that regional office reaches financial, sales, safety and operational goals

 

REQUIREMENTS

? Demonstrated detailed knowledge and understanding of electrical testing and maintenance practices, procedures, criteria and equipment operation

? NETA certification a plus

? Electrical Engineering Degree with managerial experience, work experience & training will be considered in lieu of engineering degree

? Demonstrated skills and knowledge of computer software, including spreadsheets, word processing and accounting software

? Knowledge of PeopleSoft a plus
