Regional Manager -- HD Sales

Org Marketing Statement Remy International, Inc., headquartered in Anderson, Indiana, is a leading designer, manufacturer, remanufacturer and distributor of electrical, powertrain/drivetrain and related products and core exchange service for automobiles and light trucks, medium- and heavy-duty trucks and other heavy-duty, off-road and industrial applications.  Remy was formed in 1994 as a partial divestiture by General Motors Corporation of the former Delco Remy division, which traces its roots to Remy Electric, founded in 1896. Responsibilities The Regional Sales & Service Manager is responsible for sales and marketing strategies and their implementation for our Heavy Duty product line. Our position is in the Anderson, Indiana at our corporate offices to cover IN, KY, OH, MI and TN.

? Maintain and grow existing OE Aftermarket accounts
? Achieve revenue and/or profit growth objectives
? Research, compile and present customer information and requirements
? Work within the organization to implement improvement plans
? Track sales and forecast customer demand
? Create and implement new product programs using identified strategies
? Create and maintain a business plan
? Maintain and grow the O.E. fleet specification business Qualifications ? A Bachelor?s degree and or at least 7 years sales or engineering experience in the OE, Dealer or Warehouse Distribution areas.
? Knowledge of heavy-duty truck industry including Aftermarket distribution channels and fleet sales/service
? Ability to quickly learn policies, products and services, including engineering principles and specifications of assigned products
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills
? Proficiency in MS Office Suite applications
? Ability to travel (Air, Car, other), 80%, 4 days a week
? Valid driver?s license
