Regional Original Equipment Mfg - Flow

CITY: Detroit STATE: Michigan COUNTRY: USA Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
* Expected to spend a majority of his/her time with assigned accounts creating demand for GE product and maintaining existing volume under contract.
* Project/Account management is a critical task.
* Own key relationships at each OEM from senior management, purchasing, engineering and customer service.
* Develop business plans offering profitable solutions to the OEM, while providing profitable business to GE.
* Coordinate with his/her inside sales on operational duties associated with the OEM, including cash collections, claims resolution and field warrantee/quality issues.
* Manage relationships with high level customer contacts, as well as establish relationships with key enablers within the motor business (pricing, technology, marketing, finance).
* Show a propensity to value sell GE products versus competition.
* Exhibit both leadership and team building skills in working with Marketing, Engineering and Customer Service to establish coverage and account management strategy for his/her account package.

Qualifications/Requirements:
* BS/BA
* Successful candidate will have proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and energize customers/distributors, train, manage and grow assigned territory.
* Minimum 3-5 years sales experience with proven sales performance.
* Solid commercial and technical understanding of the various motor products.
* Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
* Demonstrated ability to execute and drive results.
* Strong account management skills, proven track record of converting new accounts, strategic/value selling capabilities, with proficient communication/presentation skills.
* Excellent problem solving skills, with an emphasis on innovative and creative solutions that result in higher profitability.
* Self-starter, who needs little direction and is not intimidated by cold calling or prospecting new business.

Desired:
* MBA
* Green Belt Certified or comparable Six Sigma certification.
* BS in Engineering.
