Regional Pressure Specialist - West

* Provide a strong focal point for leading the sales efforts of defined pressure products range to customer base within designated region.
* Responsible for sales operating plan and fiscal goals for defined product group as part of total Regional and overall Company plan.
* Work in close coordination with Regional Manager(s) to drive activity and accountability of Field Sales Engineers to produce positive sales results; Includes major account planning, target market segment strategies, and leading new product introductions.
* Establish proactive field sales presence by spending a minimum of 50% of time in the field with Sales Engineers face-to-face with customers.
* Primary interface for Sales Team into the organization across multiple functional groups on major issues and opportunities related to Pressure products.
* Function as a conduit for information and involvement for the Marketing Team; Includes providing feedback from the field on new technology, applications, competition, and market trends; Also to assist in marketing communications, product launches, and new product development.
* Responsible for developing and maintaining requisite Sales/Forecast and other required reports.
* Coordination of Sales related and supplementary activities; Local Trade Shows and Symposium's, Targeted Sales Campaign's, Application Notes, Product and/or Technology White Papers, etc.

Qualifications/Requirements:
* Customer-centric mindset, able to translate customer issues/needs into profitable business solutions.
* Should have relevant experience with pressure sensors and/or pressure instrumentation, but GE Sensing will provide product training.
* Strong technical background with Sales experience required.
* Must have demonstrated negotiations experience.
* Must be able to interface and influence all levels of the customer's organization as well as other functions of GE Industrial Sensing and other GE components.
* Strong relationship development skills are necessary, including the ability to identify customer requirements and mobilize the business around those.
* Proven track record of exceeding aggressive sales quotas.
* Successful track record penetrating new accounts and markets.
* Strong strategic selling skills.- Goal oriented, high energy with strong values.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business terms.
* Strong prospecting and negotiations skills.
* Travel a minimum of 50% of time.
* Bachelor degree, or 5+ years of field sales or services experience.
* Work location flexible within Western US - Southern California is the preference.
