They are seeking a dynamic sales professional to positively impact their growth initiatives by contributing their years of industry experience and sales successes. The Regional Sales Director must offer high energy and enthusiasm, and bring with them sharp analytical skills, communications skills, and a strong closing ability.  This position is located in the Seattle, WA area. Relocation will be provided for the successful candidate.

Primary responsibilities

? Responsible for revenue generation in a regional territory as defined by the Area Sales Manager, The Americas, and/or VP Sales worldwide. Perform to assigned revenue targets

? Create, manage and keep updated Account Development Plans for each allocated account

? Take the lead on proposal generation and bid review and coordinate with headquarters

? Provide accurate reporting and forecasting on a timely basis

? Manage the commercial aspects of each account, such as timely invoicing and cash collection

? Promote the company and its product offerings at trade shows and events, often independently and with limited assistance

? Provide customer feedback on desired new product functionality

? Contribute to business case development as required in the respective market segments

? Identify various vertical market channels and obtain the requisite knowledge to be effective in selling into these markets

? Provide feedback on competitors? products and market activities.

Knowledge & Skill requirements

? Knowledge of, and working experience in, the cable and satellite Pay TV or related industries

? A minimum of 5 years experience in a field sales role with a demonsratable successful track record in closing sales and meeting quotas

? Knowledge of Digital Video Broadcast (DVB) and Internet Protocol (IP) systems and related technologies, including secure access and content protection solutions

? Familiarity with end-to-end full service solutions including, but not limited to, digital set-top boxes, satellite IRD operations, and related equipment

? Ability to prepare and perform product demonstrations and presentations for prospects

? Ability to assist with business development efforts and develop strategic relationships

? Ability to gain access to executive level contacts in each respective industry

? Experience in managing direct and indirect channel relationships

? Strong work ethic, good judgement and a high level of integrity

Working conditions

? Ability to travel up to 50% of the time including international destinations.

? Working knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel/Powerpoint
