Regional Sales Director - new opportunity with BT in the US! Chicago, DC and ATL areas available.
The Regional Sales Director position is responsible for new direct business development to include the growth of revenue and all activities required for direct sales within a region. This includes attaining specific revenue targets, building and deepening relationships between BT Americas and BTC as well as hands-on sales support to the support organizations. The target areas we are recruiting from are Chicago and DC/Atlanta (2 jobs in total).
Primary Responsibilities:
The primary focus is management and development of the BT direct sales opportunities that generate new business and revenue for BT Conferencing.
-Direct responsibility for achievement of the individual sales revenue targets.
-Provide leadership for management of assigned sales territory that successfully drives the delivery of targeted goals.
-Direct responsibility for managing and fostering partner relationship satisfaction, business development, process management, and sales cycle targets.
-Build and maintain an active pipeline of qualified new sales projects through the channels efforts.
-Maintain knowledge and keep to date with BTs (Conferencing) portfolio of services and internal processes/procedures as well as emerging technologies, products, and market trends.
-Adhere and conform to all BTs ethical and professional standards.
-Other responsibilities as needed.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
-Willingness to "hunt" for new opportunities and to establish new customer relationships.
-Evidence of driving revenue growth, generating new opportunities and providing outstanding customer service.
-Evidence of strong customer relationships with a breadth of contacts within a given customer base.
-5+ years of sales development experience in the Communications Industry for accounts generating $2 Million or more.
-Proven ability to manage, position and successfully drive new business wins through complex sales processes.
-Proven management motivational and leadership ability.
-Strong understanding and execution of the sales process, resource management, and sales reporting.
-Achievement oriented with high commitment, resilience, a positive attitude, and ability to multi-task. Leads by example, proven ability to work with energy and drive.
-Well organized and detail oriented with good time management skills.
-Professional appearance, presentation and communication at C-level.
Ability to travel.
Demonstrates high levels of initiative, ability to think creatively, initiates and implements ideas and solutions.
