Regional Sales Manager –Atlanta or the Carolinas- Motion Control and/or Pneumatic Components
An exceptional manufacturer of Motion Control products has retained our services in locating and presenting candidates for their Southeastern opening for a Regional Sales Manager. May be located anywhere from Atlanta, GA up through the Carolinas.
The successful candidate will manage the sales Representative/Distributor network within assigned region, including making sales calls and assisting with technical problems.
? Will be responsible for establishing and maintaining contact with major Original Equipment Manufacturers, existing and potential customers.
? Maintain contact with specifying engineering and consulting engineering firms for the purpose of obtaining specification of company products.
? Establish periodic product training for the Representative/Distributor network within region.
? Report on market trends and potential new product development that will support the overall objectives of the Company.
? Supports the overall sales objectives of the company products by meeting or exceeding established individual sales goals.
Qualifications:
A four year degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent field experience.
Three to five years sales experience is required. Applicant must have experience working with motion control Representative/Distributor-type organizations and experience in pneumatic or electro-pneumatic product sales is a plus. The incumbent must be able to work independently, organize and prioritize work, interpret competitor?s actions, seek out and aggressively pursue sales leads, and foresee industry needs.
The successful candidate must enjoy travel to maintain customer contacts and still complete and submit the required reports. This requires organization skill and the ability to quickly juggle priorities. In addition, the Regional Sales Manager must be able to interpret competitor?s actions, seek out and pursue sales leads and new customers.
