Scope of Position:
Provides daily direct sales coverage and support to the North East Region for Gilbert CATV product Line.

Day to Day Responsibilities:
Meeting or exceeding annual sales budget
Direct customer contact with known current customers
Generation of new business opportunities
Working with CATV Sales team to generate leads and close sales
Working with CATV Product Line management to assist customers with issues and requirements

Travel Requirements:
80% travel within sales territory

Normal sales positions scheduleREQUIREMENTS

Required Skills:
2 + years in advanced selling techniques to business entities
Cold calling that generates additional business
Professional sales presentations to business units
BS degree in Business or Operations or Mechanical Engineering (with business concentration)
Professional, aggressive, high energy sales person who enjoys difficult, challenging sales situations
Demonstrated results
Ability to determine who is the decision maker
Ability to work with very little supervision ? under general guidance
Ability to build and keep a good network of contacts
Detail oriented
Computer literate

Desired Skills:
Experience in Cable TV industry in a technical, operations or business capacity
Business process understanding
Ability to glean information from unusual sources

Education and Experience:
BS degree in Business or Operations or Mechanical Engineering (with business concentration)
2 + years in advanced selling techniques to business entities

Soft Skills:
Team Player

Note: Applicant should be willing to relocate to Northeast US regions.
