Position Summary:

The Regional VP of Sales will have complete responsibility for the profit and loss of Great Lakes sales region.  This role will be able to effectively understand and implement the sales model and strategy at a regional and local level.  This position will lead a team of Account Executives, Account Managers, Account Correspondents and Office Personnel.  The primary goal is to determine how to best coach, mentor, and manage Regional Sales Managers, sales reps to meet or exceed performance goals as well as to best deploy their sales team for maximum results.

Responsibilities:

- Total profit and loss responsibility for the region which includes organically growing the business, maintaining current business, monitoring gross profit levels, and budget control;
- Provide leadership to the sales staff by establishing expectations to improve their bottom-line performance and understanding of the business, industry trends and market intelligence;
- Build a strong team by providing coaching, mentoring, and developmental opportunities for employees;
- Improve the consistency, discipline and rigor of sales tactics and practices, incorporating contemporary sales and account management principles; continue the evolution from transactional to a consultative, solution selling philosophy and skill set;
- Build effective working relationship between the field and corporate sales organizations and corporate support functions.

- Candidate must be in the Great Lakes Region.

Minimum Qualifications:
 - A Bachelor?s degree is required and an M.B.A. degree would be a plus.
- 7+ years managerial and sales experience.
