Job Description


This is a field position generating new business revenue utilizing primarily a door-to-door selling approach in the sale of Waste Management residential subscription services to homeowners, homeowner associations and other non-franchised residential communities resulting in additional net revenue. This is an Outside Sales position and is responsible for achieving budgeted sales goals by developing and implementing sound selling strategies.


1.Establish and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. Communicate to and work with their Functional Manager and/or the CSC Manager to resolve unique customer issues/concems.
2.Effectively manage prospects by developing sound marketing plans and maintaining key information in the prospect database. Increase existing account revenue by assigned goals and meet or exceed sales call activity goals for new sales.
3.Demonstrate increased knowledge of potential customers, pricing and competition.
4.Effectively use Waste Management sales tools specific for this position (i.e. MAS).
5.Understanding of appropriate local and state regulations.




Minimum Candidate Attributes
1. Minimum of (1) year selling experience, preferably outside sales is required.
2.Demonstrate excellent communication and problem solving skills.
3.Demonstrate the ability to successfully market residential waste removal service door-to-door.
4.Willingness to learn industry and company knowledge with a desire for advancement within the organization .
5.Exhibit proficient use of personal computer and Waste Management sales tools (i.e. MAS, MS Excel, Word, etc.).
6. A High School Doploma or GED is required
