Our Retail Sales Customer Care Representative assists and delivers excellent customer service to our residential customers visiting our Cox retail location. Our Junction City office is fast-pace with great opportunities to sell services and products to customers to ensure all their needs are met. Sells service upgrades to existing customers or acquires and enrolls new customers by assessing customer needs, demonstrating all voice, video, and data services products by using effective customer service and sales techniques.
Completes customer product work orders for new or additional services, provide assistance with billing or service questions pertaining to Cox's video, telephone, and high-speed data services. Receives payments, exchanges or issues equipment like remotes, DVRs or Digital boxes. Explains bills, Cox policies and procedures concerning prices, billing and service. Schedules installation of new service. Accesses customer databases or other electronic files and/or paper reference material to locate customer records and research account history. Troubleshoots service-related problems with customers; tests converter boxes, etc. Maintains records of customer equipment such as converter boxes and remote controls. Updates customer records and any follow-up required. Assists other employees and supervisors as required.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 am to 5 pm

Required Skills: High school degree or GED equivalent. Proficient in using a Windows-based PC and sending/receiving e-mail. Proficient keyboarding skills.
Proven ability to consistently obtain sales goals. Proven ability to efficiently identify customer needs and match to appropriate products in a sales environment. Proven ability to close the sale. Excellent team player. Strong verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate by telephone. Ability to use a PC, calculator, fax, and other standard office machines. Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time. Ability to work in a climate controlled, air processed environment. Ability to perform repetitive motions of the wrist, hands and fingers to use a PC keyboard. Near vision acuity required for extensive use of PC, calculator, and reference materials.
