Position Overview

The Retail Sales Representative will report to the store's management and will have the following responsibilities: Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
Achieves sales goals and service performance requirements established by company, region and market through new customer sales; accessory sales; features; and providing excellent customer satisfaction.
Provides excellent customer service by handling service related issues and handling customer complaints, escalating the issue to management when appropriate.
Adheres to company policies and procedures including, but not limited to, Retail Sales Playbook; Inventory Management Policy; Cash Handling Policy; Attendance Policy; Dress Code Policy; and other polices as required. Performs daily store opening and closing procedures; secures and safeguards all company assets; maintains store appearance through proper housekeeping and merchandising; and adheres to retail store security policy and procedures as outlined in the Retail Sales Playbook.
Completes accurate paperwork/documentation daily in the areas of cash receipts; open/close summary; returns; price overrides; voids; customer checklists and timesheets. Also immediatley reports all cash discrepancies (overages or shortages) to Store Manager or Asst. Store Manager.
Attends meetings, training sessions and conference calls as scheduled. Stays current on all sales processes, products, services, promotions, company policies and general knowledge of the business. Participates in outside sales activities and events as assigned and performs customer follow-up as needed.
Serves as backup to accept bill payments as assigned; serves as support in inventory counts, returns and processes as assigned; answer phones; and new duties as assigned to meet the company goals.
Additional duties include, but are not limited to working a flexible work schedule, overtime, weekends, holidays as well as moving to multiple store locations.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED, 1 yr. experience in sales and/or customer service with strong written, verbal persuasion (soft sales) and interpersonal skills and the ability to handle cash. Proficient use of computer programs.
Preferred: 1+ years of experience with wireless handsets, handset trouble shooting and light repairs. 1+ years of sales experience in a quota driven environment. Proficient use of Point of Sale software. Proficient cash handling skills, including cash drawer reconciliation.
