Route Sales Manager in Training

In this entry-level full-time position, you will provide timely and cost effective cleaning and sanitation solutions within an established sales route to your around the clock customers consisting of restaurants and other Institutional foodservice accounts. You will partner with your existing customers and be a solution by understanding their dishwashing and cleaning needs and providing cleaning solutions and ideas to create customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities
Suggest and sell additional cleaning solutions and ideas to your current accounts create customer satisfaction.
Demonstrate safe equipment use and ensure that the dish machines are fully operational by using your mechanical aptitude to install and repair dish machines, laundry equipment and dispensing systems.
Ecolab will jump start your career with a training program that consists of on-the-job training as well as attending classroom training through Ecolab University at our headquarters.
Your initial training period will be a minimum of 3 months.

Weekend coverage per month: 1 in 6
Overnight trips per month: None
Income package offered: $40,000


Key Qualifications
Ability to sell value added products to existing customers and demonstrated hands-on mechanical ability, which includes electrical, plumbing, and mechanical experience.
Effectively identify and resolve problems efficiently while working independently displaying a disciplined work style and strong work ethic.
Flexibility to adapt and adjust your day to assist your customers in order to succeed in this fast paced multi-tasking environment.
You must be able to lift and/or carry 75 pounds and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
Prefer post-high school education
Minimum two years work experience or military experience
