Sales Engineer

 

Markin Tubing, LP, a leading manufacturer and fabricator of steel tubing serving the worldwide automotive, appliance and industrial markets, has an immediate opportunity for a Sales Engineer with creativity and leadership abilities. Markin?s headquarters is located in scenic Western New York, between Buffalo and Rochester.

 

This position will be responsible for the growth of new business utilizing project management tools from customer needs assessment through release to production. The Sales Engineer will provide our customers with high-level technical expertise and follow-through to cultivate a positive, continuous relationship. This newly created position will report to the Director of Sales.

 

The successful candidate will possess

? BS in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering with minimum 5 years of applicable experience.

? Experience in Project Management and New Product Development.

? Experience with the RFQ process.

? Ability to work proactively with customers and suppliers to achieve results beyond customer requirements.

? Knowledge of steel or tubing fabrication and or automotive supplier experience a plus.

? Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and bring projects to closure.
