SALES ENGINEER - Good understanding of website and application performance

AlertSite is in need of a SALES ENGINEER with seasoned sales and account management skills to complement a consultative nature and good understanding of website and application performance.

Job Purpose:
Sell to and support customers by developing relationships, identifying their needs,
and presenting appropriate services from our product portfolio.  Assist and support
other sales team members to effectively position solutions against alternatives.

Duties: Product evangelist and specialist. Plan and organize sales call schedule to existing customers and targeted prospects. Establish rapport and develop relationships with current customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements. Proactively provide product, service, or technical support. Prepare price quotations for current customers and prospects. Gain customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating the benefits and features of our offerings. Develop customer's expertise about our services by providing technical information and training. Contribute to sales effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed;   providing information and feedback when requested; recommend options and courses of actions.

?  Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

Skills/Qualifications:

Sales Skills, Technical understanding of Internet and or Web sites, Problem Solving, Selling to Customer Needs, Presentation Skills, Excellent Verbal Communication, Excellent Written Communication Previous experience in sales and systems engineering required.
