SALES PROFESSIONAL - EAST COAST
CENTRAL NJ LOCATION
Our client is a leading biomedical Contract Research Organization located in the heart of NJ. They are looking for a sales professional to join their team, covering the growing East Coast market. The ideal candidate will develop new business while maintaining current client base in selling the pre- and non-clinical capabilities of this premiere, cutting edge CRO.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Develop relationships with current clients to ensure repeat business.
? Initiate contact with potential clients to broaden client base.
? Generate a ?pipeline? of sales to meet annual target growth, with strategic knowledge of accounts.
? Develop relationships with Toxicology Study Directors and Line Supervisors to ensure timely delivery.
? Recognize sales barriers and develop methods to overcome them.
QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS degree in a scientific discipline with experience and proven sales track record.3-5 years of practical, related experience, preferably in a GLP or pre-clinical environment.Solid background and ability to sell toxicology, DMPK and pharmacology capabilities.Established book of business and contacts at Pharmaceutical and Biotech companies.Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with technical and non-technical staff.Excellent presentation and customer service skills.Flexibility to spend approx 40% of sales time traveling.
