SALES REPRESENTATIVE ? ADR

 

Louis and Company, a major distributor of products to the woodworking industry, currently has an opening for a Sales Representative ? ADR in Fremont, CA. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Regional Sales Manager and will introduce Louis and Company products and services to customers, soliciting business, processing orders and performing customer support functions. Develops customer satisfaction/loyalty by establishing and maintaining positive customer relations. Customer assignments consist of small and extra small accounts and accounts to be reactivated as defined by CASA reporting. Contact with customers is primarily over the phone with occasional visits to customers in the field.

 

Responsibilities:Solicits and develops new business and maintains contact with assigned customers to sell the company?s products.Solicits and processes orders from customers, primarily by phone, and relays to other departments.Discusses specific product applications with customers and prospects.Recommends products, substitutions and methods to customers and prospects.Provides price quotations.Completes necessary sales reports.Resolves customer issues and product complaints.Develops and achieves sales plan.Performs other duties as assigned, including attending sales meetings and open houses.

 

Qualifications:High school diploma or GED.Bachelor?s degree with emphasis in Sales/Marketing preferred.Professional sales experience preferred.Woodworking experience and/or industry knowledge preferred.  Reliable transportation, satisfactory MVR and proof of insurance.  Understanding of sales profitability.Understanding of principles of customer relations management.Detail oriented, self-motivated, sales and customer service oriented. Excellent sales, communication and organizational skills.  Excellent computer skills with MS Office and business software applications (SAP preferred) including account management software (Goldmine preferred).Bilingual (Spanish) skills.
