Jostens is offering a great business opportunity if you possess the experience and qualifications required to be an Independent Sales Representative for our Yearbook business. If selected to join Jostens as a Sales Trainee, you will be trained to represent products, services and programs that are the best in this industry. You will join an organization with a strong history of working with people to build memories and recognize achievements.

We are currently expanding territories and/or training in a variety of locations  across the United States.  Relocation will be required for some of these positions.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OR PURPOSE OF JOB:
The individual is responsible for providing solutions to customer needs and generating profitable sales growth, which includes signing new business, developing prospects, and gaining market share within a territory. The independent sales representative is also responsible for increasing sales of Jostens products within existing accounts. The position holder works effectively with school administration, advisors, teachers and students. The individual provides updates and ongoing communications to regional sales managers and plant representatives on a regular, ongoing basis. He or she is also expected to participate in specific company-sponsored training and meetings.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS/SPECIFICATIONS:

? Four year college degree preferred
? 2-5 years of experience in outside sales required; experience working with student populations preferred.
? Must be able to demonstrate proven sales performance and consultative sales experience.
? Strong organization, interpersonal, and communication skills required.
? Basic proficiency in use of Microsoft Windows/Office including E-mail and Internet, desktop publishing proficiency preferred.
? Some overnight travel may be required.
? Must be able and willing to set up and maintain a personal business office.
