SALES TRAINER

Our Client is looking for someone with Retail Sales experience who can train Interior Designers and manage ?Relationship Selling? in an effort to increase sales per square foot and increase customer satisfaction for furniture and accessories at the retail level.  Furniture experience is preferred, but Retail Sales Training experience is required.  Experience in  such industries as Clothing, Electronics, Appliances or large Department stores like Macy's, Dillard's, Nordstrom's, Marshall Field's will be considered.  Degree is not required, (but strongly preferred).  If you have the experience, we want to talk with you.  Relocation will be paid from any US location. This is a new job due to growth and expansion and is with a well established profitable Furniture manufacturer who has begun to open its own Retail stores.  High Point, NC and the Greensboro, NC areas are part of the most desirable locations in North Carolina, with only a few hours drive from both the beautiful NC Mountains as and the wide Carolina Beaches. 

 

Requirements

?Excellent presentation skills

?Minimum 3 years Retail sales or fashion design experience

?The ability to develop a concept into a sales session, including written support materials

?Work independently and collaboratively to achieve corporate goals

?Computer skills (word, power point)

?Previous training or teaching experience

 

Duties

?Train Furniture Designers at Retail locations nationwide

?Travel 3-5 days each week throughout North America.

?Evaluate and asses store performance and recommend training schedule to increase performance

?Coach the store/sales manager to more effectively manage design staff

?Develop and write training materials

?Participate in forums, markets and seminars

?Attend job training sessions as requested

?Individually develop training skills
