The Strider Group, LLC is currently searching for a top sales professional with experience selling SAP solutions and SAP staffing services to the Fortune 1000, SMB?s, and Public Sector organizations. In this role, you will be based out of Tampa, FL and identify/close SAP business opportunities within the entire United States. Our client is recognized as a leader in the SAP space, delivering value based on a client-centric model and a national based delivery capability.
In the role of Business Development Manager (BDM) you will be responsible for sales activities including: driving sales and expanding market share, developing ?C? level relationships with Fortune 1000 and SMB businesses, providing a positive work attitude, developing a sales plan that will build a strong client base, and meeting and exceeding expectations.
In order to be considered, candidates should have the following credentials at a minimum:
? Minimum of 5+ years experience in the IT consulting field, selling either/both IT staffing Services or IT managed solutions services
? Minimum of 1 year focused on selling SAP specific services and resources
? Direct selling experience in the IT space focused on solutions
? Experience selling/closing large dollar engagements
? Experience selling project based services is a big plus
? Experience selling strategic staffing services
? Strong understanding of the systems development life cycle (SDLC), and the ERP implementation life cycle
? ?C?-level, VP & D-level established relationships within the IT community, and within the SAP space
? Excellent time management, written, verbal and presentation skills
? Ability to demonstrate an immediate impact on sales
? Understanding of current IT concepts, solutions & environments
? Employ solution-selling techniques to identify business needs and stimulate demand such as:
o Bosworth
o SPIN
o Selling to VITO
? Develop and present consultative proposals that convey business need and client benefit
? Understand competitors and articulate competitive advantage
?Effective negotiation and closing techniques to secure profitable business.
