SR. SALES REPRESENTATIVE (Building Products) - Orange County area

We are currently seeking a Sr. Sales Representative for the Orange County area.

Purpose/Primary Function:
Market focused territory manager who manages the distributor/dealer network and creates pull-through sales at the builder, contractor and specifier level to exceed sales goals. EXPERIENCE SELLING BUILDING PRODUCTS OR TOOLS TO DISTRIBUTERS, SPECIFIERS OR CONTRACTORS IS AN ABSOLUTE REQUIREMENT.

Scope of Position:
Sales Representative is responsible for managing a territory, exceeding sales objectives and controlling expenses within assigned budget. Sales Representative will work out of home and have company vehicle.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1) Manage the distributor and dealer network through implementation of Trex plans and programs. (10%)

2) Create pull-through sales at the builder, contractor and specifier level. (50%)

3) Grow the stocking dealer network and increase market share. (15%)

4) Identify high profile commercial projects and ensure specification of Trex products. (10%)

5) Organize key trade and consumer shows in the territory. (10%)

6) Administration/reporting including sales call reports to management, distributor account planning, monthly highlight reports and satisfactory claims resolution. (5%)


Education, Experience, and Competencies required:
? Minimum of five years outside building products sales experience REQUIRED. NO EXCEPTIONS.
? Four-year college degree.
? Pull-through selling experience with contractors, builders and specifiers.
? Management of sales channel partners (distributors, dealers).
? Outstanding organization skills.
? Effective communication skills.
? Demonstrated influencing skills.
? Demonstrated track record and results-oriented.
? Must be a team player.
? U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
