TYX Corporation, an EADS North America Company, is a world leader providing software product for the system test of complex electronic systems. TYX is currently seeking a Sales Engineer, responsible for building new sales through client visits, cold calling, industry conference attendance, presentations and product demonstrations. This position will require close coordination with the TYX sales team including support of TYX sales representatives.

Qualified candidates will have excellent communication skills, a strong customer focus, and be self-motivated. This position will require the demonstration of complex software products. The ideal candidate will possess a background in software product sales and an understanding of test industry business and technical practices. Extensive travel is required to service accounts in the Eastern United States. The position will be based in Reston, VA.

Key Responsibilities

?

1)?? Perform sales duties to meet software product revenue forecasts. This includes establishing new accounts and servicing existing accounts.

2)?? Assist in establishing sales objectives by forecasting projected sales.

3)?? Conduct software product demonstrations using Windows technologies on laptop.

4)?? Prepare software product quotations for unsolicited and solicited initiatives.

5)?? Perform other sales and business development related duties as assigned.

Experience and Education Requirements:

?

Bachelors degree (or equivalent) and two or more years direct sales experience. Experience or familiarity with the development of test system software using LabView, LabWindows/CVI, Visual Basic or other general-purpose languages preferred.
