Your future is waiting at Misys Healthcare Systems, a division of Misys plc., the leader in healthcare information technology.
Position Description:
Come grow with us! We are currently seeking an experienced Sales Executive to join our Misys Homecare Sales team.
This position is responsible for selling the company's homecare software and services offerings while maintaining customer relationships within an assigned territory. The position is also responsible for prospecting, building relationships, performing software demonstrations and closing opportunities within an assigned territory.
Primary Responsibilities:
?Exceeds assigned annual sales quota.
?Develops and implements integrated sales strategies in conjunction with the homecare and hospital business units on shared opportunities.
?Proactively prospects for new sales opportunities.
?Maintains relationships with existing customers through face to face interaction.
?Develops and implements strategic sales plans to proactively identify and sell new opportunities.
?Designs and recommends sales and marketing programs and sets short and long-term sales strategies for targeted prospects.
?Prepares and submits sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed opportunity, including prospects, for the region.
?Delivers sales presentations to prospects.
?Handles simple sales negotiations.
?Represents company at trade association meetings to promote products.
?Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or marketing, or equivalent training in business or sales management.
?Typically requires 4 or more years of experience in a software product sales environment with at least 4 years strong experience.
Clinical background/experience preferred.
?Knowledge of Healthcare IT industry is mandatory.
?Out-of-town travel required.
?Knowledge of homecare software products, software pricing practices, selling skills, personal computers and various software application skills is a bonus.
?Proven track record of success in software sales over a sustained period in a healthcare environment is desireable.
?Excellent time management, communication skills, decision making, human relations, presentation, and organization skills.
?Professional appearance and presentation required.
In addition, this individual should have, or be able to attain, an excellent understanding of the homecare industry and it's billing and patient care issues. Strong ability to network within the industry, ability to operate in a very fast paced environment with multiple high-level priorities, and strong planning skills to determine and meet business unit objectives are also required skills.
POSITION CAN BE BASED ANYWHERE NEAR A MAJOR AIRPORT IN NEW YORK OR NEW JERSEY. POSITION WILL WORK REMOTE AND TRAVEL 50-75%.
