Sales Analyst

Sales Analyst Description: Work closely with Sales Executives, Marketing staff, and key technology staff to effectively demonstrate Company solutions, establishing the company division as a key player in prospect selection processes.



Requirements:
Conduct market research on prospective clients and provide analysis that will be used by the entire sales group to sell more effectively. Establish and maintain sales development relationships with ?Warm? and ?Cold? accounts that have previously been contacted by a sales person; in this role, individuals will be tasked applying sales techniques in order to close a deal. Research, recommend and apply new sales methods to expand contacts within prospective accounts. Develop strategies that result in an understanding of the customers? unique needs, competitions? technologies and sales strategies that need to be applied or modified. Be intimately familiar with procurement industry needs, metrics, and trends with a keen ability to relate our solutions as a strategic fit for these needs. Build strong, effective and efficient Sales Support processes to achieve company quota and objectives. Through interaction with potential clients (such as feedback obtained from participation in customer sales engagements and meeting), communicate product upgrade requirements needed to maintain market competitiveness to the Technology and Sales and Marketing organizations for future product enhancements and RFP responses. Create and, if needed, conduct high impact PowerPoint presentations, case studies, product demonstrations and general marketing messages that will increase sales. Be intimately familiar with current and future sales support technologies, such as salesforce.com. Create and maintain various sales and lead generation reports to maximize sales effectiveness. Develop a systematic and continuous method to communicate all support activities to sales people and key internal staff. Obtaining and Maintaining skills/knowledge of solutions with deep functional and technical knowledge. Provide support to sales people on their sales activities in ?Hot? accounts.
