SALES ASSISTANT

 

Position:

 

eLearners.com, a leading portal for online education and a rapidly growing Internet marketing company, a high energy sales assistant to be an integral part of our sales team. The successful candidate will  identify universities and colleges and other education institutions that offer online/distance learning programs, classify their offerings, and ascertain marketing decision makers at these institutions.

 

You will work closely with the Vice President of Sales and the sales team to identify potential targets, perform (primarily Internet-based) research, and make outbound lead generating calls and emails to uncover these sales opportunities. Other responsibilities will be assigned based on the candidates demonstrated results.

 

Responsibilities:

 

-Prospect and generate leads using a variety of sources such as cold calling, Internet and other research, industry reference materials, circulars, etc.

-Qualify leads

-Input and maintain information in company database

-Maintain an on-going pipeline of opportunities

 

Requirements:

 

- College graduate- Bachelor?s Degree preferred

-A minimum of 1+ years performing lead generation and/or inside sales preferred; Internet sales experience strongly preferred 

- Strong Internet research skills

- Understanding of the education market a plus

-Strong verbal and written communication skills

-Experience maintaining a sales prospect database; Goldmine experience a plus

-Must be a team player and able to work well individually
