Sales Associate Direct

Commercial Business Group



Responsible for the day-to-day activities associated with assigned vendors, vendor sales representatives, end-users (new and existing), Citigroup cross sell contacts and other customers as assigned. Account Executive will act as primary contact for all opportunities within assigned territory. Assure proper resources are provided for each opportunity in order to facilitate the transaction.


Primary contact for customers within defined territory.


Coordinate the flow of small-ticket leases under $250,000 to assure options provided meet the customers needs. Includes structuring and pricing transactions within business guidelines.


Transact leases from $5,000 to $250,000 by working jointly with vendor sales representative and their customer to determine the optimum financing solution to help vendor close their product sale.


Provide support to assigned Vendor Markets Regional Managers and Direct Finance District Managers to respond requests, structure transactions and provide proposals to customers.


Work with internal teams (Account Services, Credit, and Asset Management) to assure transactions are responded to within business guidelines and customers expectations.


Respond to new and existing customers who are looking to restructure existing or secure new finance opportunities.


Meet or exceed all calling efforts as defined by Sales Management.


Provide monthly reporting of sales and application activity to customers, Regional Managers, District Managers and Sales Manager.

Bachelors degree and/or equivalent work experience (2 – 5 years)

Candidate will have a minimum of 2 years direct sales experience in the equipment leasing industry with strong preference to those with experience in healthcare vendor leasing programs

Ability to travel less with overnight air-travel and some weekend work (trade-shows & vendor meetings) required

Articulate - possessing excellent listening, verbal and written communication and presentation skills

Demonstrated ability to utilize financial calculator, T-Value, or Microsoft Excel to structure lease transactions that may qualify as capital, operating or tax leasesNecessary skills/attributes include the above plus relationship building, a customer service mentality, self-motivation, competitive drive, self-confidence and persuasiveness.
