Position Description:

Sweet Onion Trading Company, a national produce sales and marketing company located in Palm Bay FL, is seeking a Sales Manager to manage Sales in our Palm Bay office.  Sweet Onion Trading Company sources sweet onions directly from the grower throughout North and South America and markets them to wholesale customers.  This is an entry level position with unlimited up side potential. 

Accountabilities:

Manage customer and grower relationships
Communicate and negotiate pricing with customer

Sell and market product

Schedule routine visits to key accounts to represent our product
Expand new business by focusing on customer needs and market potential
Prepare required documentation
Travel ? Domestic and International


Required Qualifications:

Self Starter, willing to take initiative

Energetic, aggressive, outgoing professional attitude/personality
Previous inside sales experience helpful
Effective communication skills
Strong customer service skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to multi-task
A Team Player
Decision making skills
Problem solving and analytical skills
Growth and sales oriented
Mid level of computer literacy with spreadsheets, word processing and other related programs.
Strong negotiating skills
Spanish language a big plus

Must have valid Drivers License

Ability to lift 40 lbs. as needed
Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm with occasional Saturdays


Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Agricultural Business
