Semiconductor Sales - Manufacturer's Representative

World-Class Manufacturers' Representative is seeking a salesperson for technical sales. The companies we represent are in the semiconductor component manufacturing business, power-conversion components and other products closely related to those fields.

 

Our tasks include opportunity identification with equipment manufacturers and influencing design engineers at those companies to use the solutions our manufacturers provide.

 

Skills required include the ability to interact successfully with design engineers, project managers and operations personnel. The interaction with design engineers is often technical, and our role includes identifying the need for Field Application Engineering assistance and managing that resource. A candidate will also need to demonstrate organizational skills that will enhance the pursuit of multiple projects at multiple customers simultaneously.

 

The ideal candidate would have semiconductor component sales experience and would possess a technical degree. A minimum of a BS or BA degree is required.

 

Most of the products we sell are proprietary. The process of securing the customer's commitment to use the products is crucial (design win).

 

We are compensated by the companies we represent by commission. This position is a commissioned sale position. We provide a monthly draw against commission. The upside for outstanding individuals is significant.
