Senior Account Manager, Kroger Team

Accountabilities:
* Deliver volume and profit plan at assigned customers. On-going analysis and review to identify gaps to plan and execution.
* Identify customer needs and priorities through Category Manager interaction as well as District/Zone level interaction. ?Create fact-based selling presentations as well as on-going business reviews to both groups.
* Manage strategic selling opportunities at assigned accounts including non-price related sales and business unit initiatives, special packs, and the recommendation / evaluation of incremental sales growth drivers. ?Communicate and ensure adherence to company policies including unsaleables, diverting, etc./
* Ensure promotions and trade agreements are within SROT specifications. Communication of event details to Direct Retail Team, Supply Chain and finance support teams. ?Track results and complete post-event analysis.
* Actively manage key QTG initiatives at customer.
* Communicate customer initiatives, program changes, and goals to management team. ?
* Tailor selling presentations for specific accounts to ensure efficient and effective communication of products.
* Work with DRT to drive new item retail availability, distribution voids, ?retail execution of promotional programs thru customized Kroger playbook.
* Actively participate in customer payment processing including compass management, as well as provide attentive assistance to finance team regarding financial contracts, performance, and collection.
* Utilize Category Management Team/Dunnhumby data to drive QTG business results for assigned customers.

Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:
* 5 to 7 years sales experience with consumer packaged goods organization
* BS degree or equivalent
* Highly motivated individual with excellent communication, negotiation, influencing, and follow up skills.
* Retail management a must and category management experience a plus.
* Strong PC skills including Microsoft office, Solid understanding of financials including P&L impact of sales decisions.
