We are seeking a Senior Business Consultant in the Los Angeles area. This position will be responsible for prospecting and closing new business in companies with 50 to 1,000 employees using a consultative approach to meeting client needs.

 

Responsibilities

Manage the business process from the initial contact through implementation



Maintain ongoing relationships with clients to generate referrals



Ability to engage and develop credibility with C-level executives in mid-market companies (CEO, CFO, and Human Resource Vice Presidents)



Consistently spend 60% of your time marketing to new prospects



Develop and maintain referral partners and centers of influence in the marketplace



Qualify opportunities and build a sales pipeline in excess of three times your annual quota



Provide regular updates to management on sales activity and attend weekly sales meetings





 

Qualifications & Experience

High School Diploma required, College Degree preferred



Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed quota with prior employers



Minimum of 4 years of successful business-to-business sales experience calling on medium to large companies (50-1000 employees) preferably selling employee benefits, HR Outsourcing, payroll services or human resource software



Above average communication and presentation skills with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office?



Ability to obtain and maintain the California State Insurance License within 60 days of hire (unless already licensed)



Good time management skills and the ability to work from a home office



Valid Drivers License
