(Senior) Internal Annuity Wholesaler

Our main goal is to grow our overall sales results in the multiple distribution channels we serve. We are measured very simply by the sales results we produce and the activity we generate, mostly through proactive telephone calls.

We are business partners with our external wholesalers. We work together to develop and execute business plans to achieve our desired goals.

Our internal wholesaling team is made up of seven positive, energetic, focused and goal-oriented wholesalers. We are a team in every sense of the word.

What you would do in this job

1.  Work closely with external wholesaler for assigned territory. Provide phone, administrative and sales support.

 

2.  Create and identify sales opportunities through proactive and follow-up sales (outbound) calls for Individual Annuity products.

 

3.  Provide intermediaries with sales/marketing concepts and ideas.

 

4.  Communicate effectively to external and internal customers by answering incoming calls, asking appropriate questions and accurately disseminating information about Individual Annuity products.

 

5.  Analyze competition data and provides conservation support.

 

6.  Deliver clear, convincing and well-organized telephone sales presentations.

 

7.  Identify new sales opportunities, prepare proposal materials and run illustrations for Individual Annuities.

 

What we'd expect from you

 

1.  Self-starter with strong organizational and time-management skills.

 

2.  Ability to handle multiple projects with competing priorities in a constantly changing environment.

 

3.  Technical skills to use spreadsheets, word processing, and other related software.

 

4.  Goal oriented, with proven track record of achieving results.

 

5.  Excellent interpersonal, communication and persuasive skills.

 

6.  Knowledge of individual annuity products.

 

7.  Strong team orientation.

 

8.  Ability to obtain NASD Series 6 and 63 and life/health/variable annuity license within six months. In addition to NASD exams, fingerprinting and background checks are completed.

 

Preferred skills for this job

 

1.  Two-plus years of individual product (preferably annuity products) marketing or sales experience.

 

2.  Strong track record in four year degree program.

 

3.  Prior broker-dealer experience.
