Senior Manager

PDS Technical Services is looking for a Senior Manager to lead our branch in North L.A./San Fernando Valley, CA. PDS is in the people business - a proven leader in our industry. This position will report to the President.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but not limited to):
1. Develops business plan to ensure growth and expansion, and guides all branch personnel toward target achievement.
2. Works with Business Development Manager to develop regional and national marketing strategy, conducts sales and service calls; prepares weekly sales reports, summaries and analyses.
3. Develops relationships with high-level staff at existing and potential clients to develop potential business and/or contract extensions.
4. Provides leadership to recruiting staff and sales staff in preparing proposals and closing sales.
5. Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures, including but not limited to, training, operations, sales, national accounts, branch activity and accounting.
6. Responsible for interviewing, hiring and training new employees, as well as, planning and implementing sales strategies for future work.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
12 years experience in the Technical Temporary Staffing Industry with 5 years regional or area operational management with P&L accountability.
8 years experience in servicing the aerospace or defense industries.
5 years branch office leadership and successfully servicing large volume clients.
