The Senior Manager, Sales Operations is the responsible for national sales operations within the Disney Online (DOL) Ad Sales team. This role will take an operations management and business administration approach to the national needs for this team, strategically supporting the goals and objectives of the Ad Sales department. The Manager, Sales Operations will collaborate with senior ad sales management to determine DOL ad system project priorities for pricing, yield management, contract management, and partners. Scheduling of projects and initiatives

In partnership with the Vice President, Ad Sales the Senior Manager, Sales Operations will be responsible recommending a strategic pricing model to reach sales goals and category share of market objectives. In addition, this position will lead the strategic management and direction of online advertising inventory.

Collaborates with senior management to determine and manage roll-out schedules for new projects and initiatives for the team. With the sales executive team, is responsible for determining and communicating company policy regarding national sales issues, making regular progress reports, and completing weekly, quarterly, and annual reports on team projects and key sales performance indicators.

The Manager, Sales Operations will manage one or more direct reports and will indirectly support all other team leads through the strategic initiatives, leads generation, sales support production, and final reporting for the ad campaigns maintained by the group. In addition, will facilitate staff training of operations based systems, software, and processes for all new and existing team members.

QUALIFICATIONS:


7+ years professional experience, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in interactive media, online inventory management, online sales operations support, or similar business analytics role

Experience forecasting and managing online advertising inventory or comparable experience working with an online ad serving system

Prior experience working with a vendor or proprietary pricing/yield management system

Inventory and pricing management experience required, preferably in the online industry or other advertising based media

Quantitative analysis and/or data-driven decision making.

Proven blend of business and technical skills as well as a successful track-record of applying quantitative decision-making techniques in a business-setting

Demonstrated ability to proactively identify and implement process efficiencies and solutions as well as ongoing evaluation and improvement of existing business rules

Experience working with Sales, Marketing, Sales Programs and Ad Operations departments to ensure that the sales strategy is consistent with inventory delivery structure

Inventory & pricing management experience, preferably in the online industry or other advertising based media
