We are seeking a Senior Plan Sales Associate who will be responsible for the selling of Senior Products (Individual and Group) to Medicare beneficiaries.  Activities include completing home and group sales presentations, publicizing the Senior Plan Direct product to senior centers and community based organizations and agencies, supporting the efforts of Senior Plan Direct Sales initiatives and assisting with special projects.  All activities will have the desired goal of increasing Senior Plan Direct membership.  This position will support the Brooklyn territory; home office located in Metrotech, Brooklyn, NY.

 

Principal Accountabilities include:Assist in meeting or exceeding the new enrollment projections set forth for the entire Senior Plan Direct Sales Department by selling the product to Medicare beneficiaries. Conduct individual and group sales presentations to Medicare beneficiaries, senior centers and community based organizations and agencies. Function as a liaison between all Senior Plan Direct departments to help identify and resolve member's problems and concerns. Accurately respond to prospect inquiries ensuring compliance with all CMS Marketing requirements. Complete daily, weekly and monthly activity reports. Responsible for working on special projects which support the department's business objectives.

 

Qualifications:One to three years of experience in direct sales with a healthcare company is required. Knowledge of MA (Medicare Advantage) plans is strongly preferred. Valid New York State Health Insurance License. An Associates Degree or equivalent experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal, organizational and computer skills (MS Office). Ability to work in a fast paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and goals. Valid drivers license with reliable automobile. Willingness to travel within the Senior Plan Direct service area (90% of time). Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
