Inorganics Laboratory Analyst

Del Mar Analytical Laboratory Services, a Test America Company, has been providing outstanding customer service, high quality data and regulatory expertise since 1987.

Currently, we have an immediate need in our Phoenix, Arizona laboratory for a full-time Inorganics Laboratory Analyst. This position entails working in a team-oriented environment and the willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime. This is a full-time, hourly position. The regular work schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm. The Inorganics Analyst reports directly to the Inorganics Manager.

The responsibilities for this position are as follows:

? Perform a variety of water and soil analyses by approved methods.

? Carry out detailed preparation and analysis steps according to published analytical methods and

standard operating procedures.

? Report and review data, ensuring data meets quality control criteria.

? Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on instrumentation.

? Comply with all Quality Assurance and Health & Safety policies.

The qualification for this position are as follows:

? B.S. in Chemistry, Biology, or related field. A minimum of 6 months laboratory experience is

preferred.

? Knowledge of EPA Methods

? Ability to meet QC criteria

? Possess strong organization and documentation skills including an attention to detail

? Work productively in a team environment

? Have a sense of urgency and able to work under time constraints

? Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends
