The Community Association at Sun City Grand is currently seeking a Fitness Director for their active adult community in Surprise, Arizona. Our community offers state-of-the-art fitness centers and exquisite golf courses and a variety of classes and clubs for active adults.
Job Description:
Responsibilities include supervision of fitness programs, individual and group wellness programs, physical assessments of members, oversight of two large fitness facilities, multiple outdoor activities, courts, swimming pools, exercise areas and equipment. The Fitness director will supervise a staff of approximately 21.
Qualifications:Must have budgeting experienceDegree in physical education, sports medicine, exercise physiology or physical therapy desiredFitness instructor certification from a recognized organizationMinimum 2 years experience as a supervisor with fitness/ health organizationExperience in dealing with a senior community (over 55-age group) is a plus
Benefits:Competitive salary range of $32 ? 50K, commensurate with experienceExcellent benefits offered
