Materials Analyst - Automotive Tier 1 Supplier - AL

Kelly Automotive Services Group is currently seeking Material Analysts for a contract to direct position with a large Automotive Tier One Supplier in the Montgomery, Alabama area.

Material Analysts

2 for days and 1 for nights
Required Education:
Four Year College or university program certificate and two to four years of related experience; or, equivalent combination of
education and experience.

Job Responsibilities:
Confers with supervisors of other departments to coordinate flow of materials or products.
Responsible for monitoring for the scheduling of incoming production material to ensure adequate inventory levels, and for analyze cycle count
adjustments to ensure accurate inventory accountability and make recommendations to the Materials Manager.
Review weekly release data to include Demand Management, MRP and RPS.
Monitors suppliers and commercial carriers to ensure that deliveries scheduled are consistently met and any error rectified in a timely manner.
Writes procedures as directed for Receiving, Material Flow,etc. Responsible for training as required.
Responsible for updating and maintaining computer data to ensure database integrity
Performs special projects and other duties as assigned by Materials Manager.
Arranges for and follows up on special picks-ups and deliveries.
Assists various other departments such as Accounting, Receiving and Shipping in resolution of discrepancies.
