The Senior Buyer will ensure the timely and accurate procurement of goods and services for the Children's System at the best possible cost while providing for additional customer service and departmental leadership.You will proactively support the efforts that ensure delivery of safe patient care and services, and promote a safe environment at Children's.
Qualifications:

Bachelor?s degree and a minimum of 5 years purchasing experience required, preferably in a healthcare settingMinimum 2 years experience successfully coordinating the purchase of equipment, furniture, fixtures and services for major capital projects including, sourcing, bid analysis, scheduling, negotiating and contract reviewAdvanced analytical skills in data base management tools, including Microsoft Access and Excel, as well as proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite tools Experience in MMIS required; Lawson experience preferred Proven ability to lead teams, plan, manage and track projects through implementation and successfully support spend management Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in written, oral and presentation format, across organizational levels Proven ability to facilitate productive meetings and lead teams in issue clarification, consensus decision-making and resolution
