Position Description:

 

-  Senior Commodity Manager reporting to the Director of Purchasing

-  Responsible for $10M-$20M in MRO & MRP materials purchasing

-  Independently investigate and identify new sources of supply

-  Effectively interact with customers, engineering, quality, finance, marketing and sales

 

Background Required:

 

- 8-10 years of direct and indirect purchasing experience in Consumer Goods, Retail, or Food / Restaurant industry;

- Experience with tier-1 software application(s) to support purchasing function

- Solid negotiation skills;

- Bachelor?s Degree;

- Proven track record of success in similar role.
