Senior Distribution Center Manager: senior operations leadership at global Fortune 500

This position offers you the opportunity to make a significant impact as you leverage your strong leadership skills to drive a solidly performing DC to the next level. In addition to overseeing all aspects of this large, high volume facility, you'll ensure that all employees participate in decision-making processes and feel a sense of ownership of the DC's success. You'll also lead initiatives to evaluate, develop, and implement new systems and technologies such as RFID. In this position you'll acquire a "bird's eye" view of our overall business, and as we continue to grow, both organically and by acquisition, you'll be in a position to take advantage of the "upward draft" of opportunity created by that growth.

To be a good fit for this role you'll have at least seven years of inventory management and distribution experience in an MRP II environment, including at least five years in a management capacity. We're looking for a professional with outstanding leadership abilities, a demonstrated collaborative approach to management, and a successful track record of implementing both technical processes and organizational structures. You'll also need solid working knowledge of current warehouse management systems (WMS); experience with WMS implementation is a plus, as is knowledge of supply chain and/or inventory planning.
