Senior Supply Chain Analyst

Providence Health & Services is recruiting for the full-time position of Senior Supply Chain Analyst in our corporate Supply Chain Management department in Seattle, Washington.? Primary duties include conducting analysis to support system-wide supply cost-reduction opportunities, bid preparation, negotiation with suppliers, and presenting recommendations to key stakeholders.? This position will interact with national Group Purchasing Organizations (GPO?s) and/ suppliers to resolve system-wide contract-related issues, work with various sources to obtain product information, and investigate potential contracting opportunities.

Required Skills:
The minimum qualifications for consideration include the equivalent of a Bachelor?s degree in information systems, data base management, statistics, business administration, or purchasing; and a minimum of five years of business analysis, information/date base management, purchasing or related work experience in a health care supply chain or group purchasing environment.? Previous experience with Procurement Application software is required and experience with Lawson ERP is preferred.? A Master?s degree in Business Administration or Finance and previous contract negotiation experience are preferred.?
